The project utilises a constrained site which previously had been subject to infill development that failed to make effective use of the space, resulting in a cramped and poorly designed bungalow.
An overall redesign demanded careful consideration and an imaginative approach to give visual uplift and greater functional space, maximising on the site's ultimate potential and land value.

The unique design responds to the site layout and orientation to create a bright and contemporary 3-bed family home split over two storeys, complete with detached front carport and a bespoke garden studio pod to the rear.
Utilising carefully positioned wall-to-ceiling glazing, the layout maximises daylight and solar gain and minimises potential for overlooking from neighbouring properties. The use of brise soleil creates a more comfortable living environment by naturally regulating sunlight and solar heat entering the property.
