SDA was approached to carry out the sensitive subdivision of a complex site to create a new dwelling within Caldy Conservation Area. Taking advantage of the unique topography, the new building will create a sense of enclosure and has been carefully composed to maintain the privacy and outlook of the surrounding dwellings, while respecting the site's natural features and character. Referencing the prominent local sandstone, the project will be a new and inventive addition to the architectural language of the local area.
