Extension & Alteration

The project comprises two main areas of work: a rear extension at ground-floor level and alteration and renovation works. The Victorian house was deprived of natural daylight and the interior disconnected from outdoor space. Our brief was to address these negative issues and create a home suitable for contemporary family living. A number of walls were demolished internally to create an open plan arrangement. Sliding glazed doors to the rear create a strong connection to the garden, where the patio has been raised to form a more natural flow between indoor and outdoor space.
